Across Asia, Search is working to build healthy, safe and just societies. At present, Search is working in Afghanistan, Indonesia, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Uzbekistan and Myanmar to promote a culture of tolerance and collaborative problem-solving at the intersections of religion, youth, and the local governments. We work to transform perceptions of conflict by bringing together diverse actors and leveraging multi-stakeholder dialogues, innovative media, and community dialogues. Our programmes work on several levels and enhance horizontal cohesion by organizing community and engagement events that bring together stakeholders to overcome prejudice, build trust, elevate the voices of unheard groups, and develop awareness about shared challenges like socio-economic development and local conflicts.
