Position Summary
The Manager, Finance and Administration (Central Asia), is responsible for overseeing all finance, administration, and operational functions for SFCG in Central Asia, to ensure compliance with SFCG and donor regulations. They will oversee budget planning and management, as well as the general cash management of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan offices. This includes ensuring the timely request and reconciliation of advances, preparing monthly financial reports, and providing technical support in financial management to partner organizations. The duty station will be Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. They will have dual reporting to the Country Directors in Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Type and Nature of Contacts
Routinely coordinates with colleagues and consultants on-site and in the field and resolves problem situations with tact.
Interacts with consortium members, their finance and logistics teams, and consortium management colleagues
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
Usual office environment conditions; ability to travel internationally at least 20%.
Supervisory and Budget Responsibility
May supervise one or more staff members, including, but not limited to, the following roles:
Finance Assistants and Officers
Administrative Officers
People and Culture Officers
Grants Officers
